What is communication tool in ICT?

Communicative tool refers to two-way communication between the sender and receiver. There are two types of communication tools: Synchronous communication and Asynchronous communication. It also refers to use of applications to interact between users online or both within and outside classroom.

 

Synchronous communication: refers to users to be at the real time or happening at the same time online. This type of communication tool enables real-time communication which helps solve urgent problems or issues.

 

 

Example: Zoom meeting, Google meet, Webinar, etc.

Asynchronous communication: user doesn't require at the same time online. 

Example: chats, voice recorded, recorded video clips, etc.
